Sun, 11 - 3.5 Shuffle (17 weeks 5/11-8/31 skipping 7/27)

10-12 noon - Boeke Outdoor Hockey Rink Courts - This event is full, you can “drop in” any week and if space is available, you can pay to play. $5 for members, $10 for non-members. CLOSED/FULL

Tue, 13 - 3.0 Shuffle (14 weeks 5/13-8/12)

Tue, 19 - Team League Party

5-8 pm. - Arctic Recreation Center - Season end team league party. Finger foods and open play for team league participants and subs.

Sat, 23 - Kickin’ in the Kitchen Fundraising Tournament for Cook Inlet Soccer

9 am-7 pm. - Boeke Outdoor Hockey Rink Courts - $55 Register with your own partner for mixed doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ skill divisions. Register on globalpickleball.network. Questions contact Tournament Director Marie Vanderbilt at 907-205-0406 or Kristina Whitford 907-301-0401.

Sun, 24 - DUPR Event for 3.0 players

12-2 pm - Boeke Outdoor Hockey Rink Courts -Free to members, $10 for non-members. Come out to play competitive games and get a better understanding of your skill level with DUPR.  DUPR provides player ratings for free. It is widely used by amateur and professional players throughout the sport. This is a great opportunity to provide data to your DUPR and better understand your rating. Events will be held for under 3.0, 3.0 to 3.49 and above 3.5. If you don’t already have a DUPR rating, please make a best guess of where you belong. Players must create or have an account at DUPR.com. Players must also have the Swish app on their phone. Players will need to bring their phone and be logged into the Swish app on game day to record scores. Games will be shuffle play with rally scoring. More details will be provided to registered players. CLOSED/FULL

11 am-4 pm. - Boeke Outdoor Hockey Rink Courts - Let’s celebrate it’s not the end of summer play and Laborl Day with open play and a barbecue. Merchandise for sale and door prizes to members. Bring a non-dessert dish to share.

Thursday, 11 - 3.5+ Fall Ladder League (7 wks, 9/11-10/23)

6:45-8:45 pm. - O’Malley Sports Center - $65. Enter as an individual.  Each week you will receive a notification via bench app requesting an RSVP for the week.  You will be assigned to a court with 4 other players of a similar skill level.  You will play games with and against each of your court mates and have a rest game.  Scores will be recorded and used to determine if you will move up a court, stay, or move down a court for the next week.  Good competitive, fun play!  CLOSED/FULL. 11 am-2 pm. - Boeke Outdoor Courts - This tournament is for “beginners”. Register as an individual and play round robin games with all partners, then payr up with a permanent partner into single elimination brackets. NEW Sat, 20 - Sizzle in September Pickleball Tournament

9 am-8 pm. - Grizzly Family Fitness - $55 . They are using Open Registration due to the new DUPR algorithm. Tourney director will place players into divisions after registration closes,  based on DUPR rating, reliability score, and skill level. DUPR now focuses more on how you perform in your matches, not what division you enter — so strong results matter most. Format is round robin same gender doubles and then paired with mixed doubles partner into single elimination brackets. Limited to 96 players. Register on globalpickleball.network.

5-8 pm. - Arctic Recreation Center - We will conduct business beginning at 6:15 pm and when completed - open play. Food will be provided. If you cannot attend, please consider submitting a proxy..
